Melody Breyer-Grell

Melody Breyer Grell, originally a singer, made her professional writing debut with lyrics to her satirical What’s So Funny About Jazz? She was soon on board with Cabaret Scenes Magazine, writing reviews, interviews and features.

Melody’s fiction, essay and memoir has been published in various anthologies and journals. They include The Fairhaven Literary Review, The Cat’s Meow and short “Romance” stories as featured in Counting Down the Seconds and SunKissed (both published in the UK by Freya Publications). Breyer-Grell is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, opining on a broad range of subjects—from peace in the Middle East, to “American Idol.”

Melody’s essay, “Just Say No,” appears in the 2015 release of the anthology Dumped: Women Defriending Women—edited by Nina Gaby.
